This incredibly detailed drawing was completed with Prismacolor premier pencils on white card. The original photo was taken and referenced with permission from photographer Zac Herr of ZTHPhotography. Helen’s attention to detail is key here, with each individual scale drawn in during a time consuming process to capture the pattern and texture of the animal’s skin. Frilled neck lizards (Chlamydosaurus kingii) are native to Helen’s home country of Australia. This particular lizard however is named “Scout”, and currently living in captivity in the United States.

This piece is available as limited number (25) prints, printed on archival quality eco friendly Hahnemuhle Bamboo card. Each print comes hand signed and numbered, with it’s own unique Certificate of Authenticity. Print size without frame is approximately 8"x11" (A4 portrait).
